New Qin Ji

"New Qin Ji" is a long historical romance set in the late Qin Dynasty during the Warring States Period. The book has six volumes in total and revolves around the life of the civilian soldier Hei Fu. The story begins with Pinyang's conscription. Heifu, the head of Guizhou, enlisted in the army. He experienced life and death on the battlefield of the Chu Chu campaign and fought side by side with the counselor Jing Li. With his bravery, benevolence and extraordinary insight, he gradually grew from a soldier to a mid-level general of the Qin army. The Sand Dune Palace changed, the First Emperor died suddenly, Zhao Gao and Li Si made false edicts and disrupted the government, and Meng Tian and Meng Yi died unjustly. Heifu saw through the corruption of the Qin court and took the initiative to avoid trouble and go north to take root in the northern border. While he was reorganizing border defenses, improving the military system, and training elite cavalry, he was fighting against the rising Maodun Huns, guarding the Great Wall, appeasing the refugees, and establishing a strong base in northern Xinjiang in troubled times. The Dazexiang uprising broke out, the anti-Qin wave swept across the Kanto region, and the old Qin collapsed. Heifu abandoned the decadent Second Imperial Court, held high the orthodox banner of the Old Qin Dynasty, and led the Northern Xinjiang Iron Army southward to the Central Plains. With the purpose of saving people and ending violence, he took in refugees, rectified the place, and dealt with various uprising heroes. He accumulated strength in the flames of war and eradicated the shortcomings of Qin's government. The novel depicts the troubled times when the Qin Empire went from its peak to its collapse, explores the gains and losses of military success, people's support, and the system, and writes about the magnificent journey of the people at the bottom who defended the land, stabilized the people, and pursued a new order in the torrent of the times.
