Eastern Giant Serpent! A Flood Dragon Appears in North America, Live on Stream!

Qin Feng, an international student, was struck by purple lightning on the banks of the Mississippi. When he woke, he had become a giant snake more than ten meters long. No, a jiao dragon. A reverse scale had begun to grow, and two horns had burst through his skull. The inherited memories buried in his bloodline awoke: he had three months to complete his transformation from jiao to dragon. Otherwise, he would become a mindless prehistoric beast forever. But there was a problem. He was hiding at the bottom of the Mississippi, and a group of reckless adventure bloggers had caught him on camera with a drone. A photo of his scales set Reddit ablaze, and an underwater livestream broke the internet. Reverse scales, vertical pupils, a thirty-meter-long blue-black body. Netizens around the world went wild: “There’s a Chinese dragon in an American river?!” From the wildlife department to the forestry bureau, from sonar detection to infrared scans, humanity closed in on the riverbed layer by layer. Qin Feng secretly honed his water-controlling abilities while playing cat and mouse with the humans along the river. They set up their equipment, he moved on. They packed up, he came back. Every now and then, he even summoned a rainstorm and hid himself in the mist. But North America was never short on influencers willing to risk their lives. When someone pointed an AK-47 at the river and opened fire, Qin Feng finally snapped. Water arrows ripped through the air. Boats were destroyed and people died. His vertical pupils rose above the water, staring at the whole world through their screens. It was watching. It was growing stronger. It was waiting for a storm, so it could ride the current south, enter the sea, and become a dragon. And at last, humanity realized one thing: they weren’t facing some “unknown creature.” They were facing a dragon, in the midst of its transformation from jiao to dragon.
