The Mist Returns to the Ruins

The Land of Guixu, shrouded in endless mist, is an eternal world that devours fragments of countless other worlds. It swallows the decaying remnants of dying realms, but sometimes it snatches away a corner of a living world. A blade of grass, a tree, a person, a house, a stretch of land, even an entire civilization can all be dragged inside. At midnight each day, Guixu automatically digests the foreign lands it swallowed the day before. The people, objects, and buildings it took are all consumed, and only a wondrous object carrying the will of its original world, a World Core, can keep a patch of land from being completely dissolved. Xie Guoxia accidentally fell into this place. Fortunately, he had a Core of his own, the only shelter he had in the mist. With only his loyal yellow dog Wangcai and his adorable black cat Meiqiu by his side, one person, one house, and two companions set out together to find a way home. Amid the ceaseless devouring and digestion, he guards his self-built home, collects treasures from other worlds, and resists Guixu's erosion. Among the ruins of countless world fragments, he fights monsters, gets cards and buildings as loot, and does it all for one reason: to go home.
