Empty Seal

Origami City will rewrite house numbers and people. When corrections come, the streets and lanes can pretend to be updated; after the relationship is taken away, there is often only a blank page left in the city - with numbers but no text. Lu Chen was a fact-checking editor who was fired for verifying an announcement that should not have been verified. The recruitment order sent him to the Patch Hall: the Errata Bureau's external gaming field. There are no cases here, only tables. Each table changes to a set of original rules, and the winner is the same as the winner; the reward is a short-term "existence", and the loser may bear an irreversible errata mark - it is not bloodshed, but it can make certain titles, length of service, and connections never happen in the files. People at the same table each have rulers and knives: some calculate risks, some sell fear, some insist on rankings, and some collect scores for the group. Lu Chen has no system, no aura of justice, only the habit of checking costs - he wants to survive in the constantly changing game, and find out whether the "errata" when he was fired was the aftermath of the same empty page. "Empty Chapter" is a long scroll about the battle of wits between the Origami City and the Patch Museum: games, explorations, reasoning, and puzzle solving are all welcome. Accounts must be settled and people must read them clearly. What is empty is not a certain prop, but the promises that are made but may not be fulfilled, and the blank column left after being taken away from the relationship.
