"Lishan" uses Erlong Mountain in Laoshan Mountain as the narrative field, takes Shennong Lianshan Yi's "establishing roots, establishing life, and establishing heart" as the spiritual core. It inherits Yu Hua's calm and restrained folk narrative style, completely dissolves Yi Li into daily fireworks, and writes about the life resilience of ordinary people to hold on and stand firm in the suffering of survival. Jiang He, a doctor of psychology from Peking University, fell into severe insomnia due to the sudden death of his father. He tried many professional methods but could not find a solution. Finally, he relied on the Lianshan method passed down by his grandfather Jiang Shoutian to take root. He returned to the mountains and built a mountain residence. He did not use scales or terminology, but only used the vernacular of farming to live a life, gently turning around ordinary people who were trapped in livelihood, guilt, and pain.
