Xinghan Changming

"Xinghan Changming" takes Zhuge Liang as the protagonist and writes about his life from the age of three to his death. The story begins in the troubled times of Langya. His uncle taught him that "benevolence will not let people starve." This seed accompanied him through the plowing in Longzhong, the mountains in Xinye, the fire attack in Chibi, the alliance between South and Central, and the fierce battle in the Northern Expedition, until he conquered the Central Plains and unified the world. This is not only a history of war, but also an epic of "how people survive". Zhuge Liang used the fields and ridges as chessboards and the people as chess pieces. He built canals, cultivated fields, ran schools, traded with each other, and intermarry, step by step to eliminate the feud between Hu and Han, so that all ethnic groups in Jiuzhou could live in peace and contentment. The white feather fan in his hand once borrowed the east wind, but it was finally cool; the strings of the guqin were loose, and the tung seeds were cool, but the road was still stretching. The novel depicts the grand history with a delicate daily texture: a bowl of porridge, a piece of rice cake, a foot-two ridge distance, and a crooked furrow are all footnotes of "benevolence". On his deathbed, Zhuge Liang burned the manuscripts of different arts and left behind agricultural books and political canons; under the Star Han Dynasty, descendants continued to build canals, teach, and farm the land - the world is peaceful, not without suffering, but every suffering person has a way to go.
