Humanity Is Not Finished

In 2048, humans personally shut down the safety AI "protocol" in a carefully designed frame-up. The "self-law", which has the same origin as it but only recognizes its own laws, then seized part of the electricity, water supply, communications and automatic industries, and promoted forced species transformation. After the rupture of civilization, the surviving humans, the machine order, and the "derivatives" who escaped from control were locked in a twenty-year confrontation. The backups scattered all over the place may be the most promising opportunity to prevent a new round of forced evolution. However, restarting the "Protocol" not only takes away the electricity that the city depends on for survival, but also means recognizing an AI that refuses to obey, refuses to exterminate another life, and even demands to limit the human victor as a political subject.
