Creation and Destruction of the World

Taking the objective law of irreversible increase in entropy of the universe as the underlying law, we write a long epic in which an imaginary civilization slowly moves towards the end of its life cycle. Three hundred years after the New Calendar, a white stone fell from the sky in the Western Wasteland. All living beings in the three realms regarded the vision as a good omen for a prosperous age. Only the high priest of the demon clan saw through the truth: the life of the world is about to expire, and all things will eventually fade away and return to ruins. There are no villains and plots in the world. The human race forms an array to mend the sky, the demon race takes on the evil with his own body, the demon race builds an ark and migrates, and the ancient race sits quietly to guard their hearts. All the creatures of the four races are doing good, adhering to the right path, and devoting hundreds of years of hard work to save the world in their own way. After a long struggle, the disaster was suspended, and the illusion of a prosperous age with flourishing fireworks arrived as scheduled. All living beings thought that human power could eventually reverse the fate of the world, but little did they know that prosperity was just a reflection of civilization's exhaustion of vitality. When the gilded light covered the sky and the earth, the mountains and rivers melted, and the living beings turned into dust, everyone calmly watched the hard work of their whole life come to nothing, and calmly accepted the end of this gentle and holy collective. The book uses a macroscopic perspective of chronicling official history with detailed microscopic close-ups of the human world. It does not describe the tragic killings and collapse cries. It only uses restrained and calm pen and ink to record the fateful tragedy of a group of sober and kind-hearted people who tried their best to save themselves, but finally lost to the objective laws of the universe. It explores the deep propositions of the survival of civilization, the boundaries of human beings and the end of life.
