Legend of the Sword

Wan Xiuyan, a Confucian scholar from Wanjia Village, Shannan County, Xijiang Prefecture, was young and fond of martial arts. One night on the mountainside of Zhonglaofeng behind the village, he encountered four disciples of the Emei Sect chasing a monk. The next day, out of curiosity, he tracked the whereabouts of the five people on the mountain. When he found Wuchou Cliff, he found traces of the fight between the five people. However, he was mistaken by the Emei disciples who returned to the scene as being related to the matter, and was involved in a turmoil. In the next four days, he was entrusted to hand over the Emei leader's token "Quining Cloud Sword" to the Emei leader. From this, he experienced a series of major events such as the succession struggle of the Emei leader and the grievances between Emei and Jianghu gangs. He encountered various dangers. In the process, he gradually acquired superb internal skills and gained the ability to survive in the rivers and lakes. His personality, martial arts and life experience also gradually grew.
