Fallen Dust God: Season One

When Hongmeng first opened, a giant hand separated the pure from the impure, creating the realms of Heaven, Demons, and Cultivation. For countless ages, peace reigned and order was strict. The Celestial Court laid down an iron law: immortals and demons followed different paths and could never love one another. Those who broke the rule would have their souls annihilated. Countless eons passed, and the three realms remained undisturbed, until a forbidden encounter overturned the age-old order of Heaven. The Martial God Qiong Cang of the Nine Heavens rose from the ranks of mortal warriors to the pinnacle of godhood, wielding authority over martial arts across the heavens. The Demon Princess Ye Li bore the pure bloodline of the ancient Demon Emperor and was the highest-born princess in the Demon Realm. Though they stood at opposite poles of the world, one righteous and the other demonic, they met in a desperate refuge between the cracks of Hongmeng, came to know one another, and secretly fell in love against the natural order. They stayed together year after year. Their love defying Heaven eventually threw fate into chaos, overturned the River of Stars, and enraged the Heavenly Dao. The child they conceived in secret, born of both god and demon, transcended the five elements and the three realms, violating the Celestial Court’s ancient law. The celestial armies descended in force, shaking all three realms. The Demon Princess Ye Li was taken to the Nine Heavens Judgment Platform and struck by apocalyptic divine lightning. Her body and soul were destroyed, leaving no chance of reincarnation. The Martial God Qiong Cang watched helplessly as his beloved fell. His heart for the Dao shattered. He denounced Heaven’s injustice, but the gods sealed his source of power, stripped him of his divine rank, shattered his Dao foundation, and sent him to the Immortal-Slaying Platform to endure endless torture. As his soul crumbled, the Martial God burned up the divine essence of his remaining body and formed a barrier that blotted out the sky to protect his unborn child. With the last of his strength, he cast the child down into the mortal world. From then on, the Nine Heavens had no Martial God, and the Demon Realm had no Princess Ye Li. All that remained was a baby, carrying the purest blood of the martial Dao and the most wicked essence of the Demon Emperor. Burdened by the feud between immortals and demons and the crime of defying Heaven, rejected by the three realms and denied by the Heavenly Dao, the child quietly fell into the mortal world.
