Win Power, Secure Peace

Ying Chengan is an ordinary mortal boy from a poor family in Yunxi County. Though his family is impoverished, their life is warm and harmonious. His parents named him Chengan, hoping for neither wealth nor immortality, but only that he would enjoy a peaceful life and that their family would remain together for a long time. One day, Ying Chengan accompanies his mother to buy fruit and vegetables. As they return home, a battle between demonic cultivators and cultivators from the Tai Xuan Sect happens to reach Yunxi County. The terrifying power of colliding immortal arts crashes down, smashing a huge crater into his family's courtyard. Smoke billows and rubble flies. Ying Chengan watches his father perish in the disaster. Overcome with grief, his mother rushes into the crater without a thought for her own safety, trying to save her husband, and is buried with him beneath the ruins. The violent shock wave knocks Ying Chengan unconscious. When he slowly awakens amid the cold, silent rubble, his home has already been reduced to scorched earth and broken walls.
