The Omniscient Person of Information: Whether to Modify or Delete

The true strength of a civilization does not lie in how many stars it controls, but in how cruel it is in the cosmic information war to protect the "authenticity" of its own history and determine the "narratives" of other civilizations. How should you define your own existence when you can easily modify and delete all information about a civilization? Is it the supreme God, or an ultimate loneliness without a past?
