1. There is no empty practice in the underworld. Funeral customs changed from ritual to law. Violation triggers the rules - the dead souls cannot escape, and the living are trapped in the rules. 2. No remuneration can be owed. The performer of the ritual must pay "underworld reward". Take something away from you permanently. Fingerprints, hearing, body temperature, memory. The last payment for those who pay everything is death. 3. Each realm of the underworld is its own boundary. Rules follow people, not the place. Wherever the deceased dies, the rules take effect. Two sets of rules claim the same body at the same time - the mourning hall is torn apart.
