In the eternal night of the universe, there was once a planet that relied on low light to survive. When the flames of war devoured everything, the two remaining teenagers were taken to the Kingdom of Light and began a stumbling new life. Brees looks calm and rational on the surface, but his inner barrage of complaints is louder than anyone else. Leo is reckless and hot-blooded, and his speed in getting into trouble is directly proportional to his strength. They took the hardest beatings on the training ground, made best friends in the hallways, and ate their first freshly baked bread in the bakery. From students in the Kingdom of Light, to temporary workers moving cement on Earth, to "suspicious superpowers" targeted by the defense team, the brothers just want to live well and find their way back. As for things like fighting, rescuing people, being treated as a beggar, and being secretly stuffed with food by aunties, it's really just incidental. After all, before you can learn to protect the universe, you must first learn how not to starve on earth.
