Burning Star 1926

Chen Wang, an ordinary history student, traveled to Peiping in 1926. There is no golden finger or system. The only thing that is better than others is his keen literary perception - he can turn what he sees into sentences that others can remember. It took him fourteen years to go from a spark trembling at the base of the city wall to a flag stuck in the mud that wouldn't fall down, and finally to a spark burning itself out before dawn. His initial motivation was simple: he just wanted the society to change as soon as possible. One less person would starve to death, and one less person would kneel down. Later he discovered that he was not here to make it happen earlier, he was here to make it happen. It happened with every step he took.
