Fog Locks Paris

In Paris at the end of the 19th century, gas lamps illuminated the avenues, carriages passed through rainy nights, and newspapers published new scandals and deaths every day. The young private detective Albert Delang was once the sharpest eye in the Paris Police Department, but he was forced to leave his job because of an old case. Today, he opens a humble detective agency on the left bank of the Seine, making a living by investigating disappearances, blackmails and extramarital affairs. Until one rainy night, a noble widow brought a commission: her husband had been buried for three months, but she sent back a personal letter last night. From that day on, Albert was involved in a series of seemingly independent cases: death in a secret room, inheritance scam, theater murder, disappearance in a monastery, railway corpse case...
