Memories of the Time God

(A slow-burn ordinary-mortal story. Beware, there’s heartbreak ahead.)

The star wheel crumbles, the divine kingdom falls, and the Great Dao cycles on without end.

Lin Hao, a boy from a remote village, was found in the woods, with nothing but an ordinary mortal’s bones.

He listens to a mad old man recount ancient tales of the gods’ fall, tends to the everyday life of his village, and sets out on a long journey in search of the Dao.

Relying neither on immortal fortune nor coveting shortcuts, he comprehends his own Dao amid the fading memories of time and observes the rise and fall of heaven and earth.
