The blood moon rises, and Rule-Based Horror invades reality. The whole world falls into panic, and humanity becomes prey to the supernatural.

Night-shift worker Ji Yuan encounters the F-rank supernatural entity “Headless Butcher” from the start and triggers a deadly rule: [You must satisfy the customer’s demand to buy “meat,” or die!] At the critical moment, Ji Yuan awakens the [Universal Modifier], which lets him alter the descriptions attached to anything in the world!

Looking at the butcher’s tag, [Brutal Mutilation Maniac], hovering above its head,

Ji Yuan takes up his pen and changes it to [Brutal Cleaning Maniac].

The next second, the terrifying butcher drops its cleaver, picks up a mop, and, tears streaming down its face, mops the convenience store floor until it shines.

Faced with the rule that the butcher wants “meat,”

Ji Yuan pulls out an expired starch sausage and changes the [starch] in its ingredients list to [meat].

“Pure meat. Ten times your money back if it’s fake.”

“That’ll be 88.8 yuan.”

“WeChat Pay or Alipay?”
