LPL: From the Start, I Lead EDG to Victory at the Bird’s Nest

[System-driven, technical gameplay, high-stakes competition, righting past wrongs, invincible power fantasy]

S7: the Ardent Censer meta, the era of ADC dominance.

It was also the most heartbreaking year in LPL history: the tournament was held on home soil, the final took place at the Bird's Nest, yet not a single Chinese team was there.

Lin Chen transmigrated to the end of the 2017 Spring Split and became a benched, unnoticed AD for EDG.

Just as Lin Chen thought he could only watch the tragedy happen all over again, the [All-Round Esports Point Allocation System] awakened!

As long as he won a match, he could earn stat points and endlessly improve his basic abilities, including his reaction time, micro, and positioning!

Too slow to react? Add points!

Stiff kiting? Add points!

Getting crushed in lane? Pour every last point into it!

On the eve of the Summer Split, EDG's management was shaken to the core.

The prodigy iBoy, hailed as the LPL's great hope for the future, was crushed so brutally in lane by Lin Chen during team scrims that he lost all confidence!

Lin Chen had earned the starting AD spot, fair and square!

As the Summer Split kicked off, the whole league waited to see EDG's bot lane make a fool of itself.

But when Lin Chen solo-killed the man hailed as a god, Uzi, the entire LPL erupted!

And Lin Chen's legend was only just beginning. He led EDG to victory at the Bird's Nest, and in an era dominated by the LCK, he used his own hands to give the LPL a fighting chance.
