The survivors crowded into seven domes - no one knew who built them. But miner Shen Du discovered the truth: the dome was not made of bricks, but grew. Mycelium, that thing has been crawling in the dome for more than two hundred years, and it has become more and more restless recently. We went down the well at four o'clock in the morning and the drill bit hit the soft layer. It's not that the stone is soft, it's alive. The old miner's face turned pale: "White Beard is awake." Then it caves in. Shen Du fell into the fungus abyss and was selected by a mutated hyphae. Not all mycelium wants to eat people. This one is different.
