Endingstardust

On the day of the college entrance examination, when I thought it was an important day in my life, I found myself in a place inexplicably. One hundred "candidates" from different places became experimental subjects for alien "shared consciousness". Just when I thought I could escape by just continuing to participate in the death game, I discovered that everyone had changed to varying degrees. When I thought that everything here was to create a god, everything was heading towards annihilation. The observers of "shared consciousness" float in nothingness, recording everything with indifference. They tried to understand human "emotions", but they saw signs of out-of-control in the experimental data: when individual will collides with sparks beyond survival instinct, and when trust and betrayal are repeatedly tempered between life and death, this game aimed at screening "gods" is sliding towards unpredictable annihilation. When I saw people around me sinking or awakening, I finally understood: the real test question is never survival, but whether human beings are worthy of being called "human" on the gallows of civilization.
