After Sharing a Dream, I Conceived the Abstinent Buddha’s Child

Chu Qinyang is a delicate flower, breathtakingly beautiful, with a face that could topple kingdoms.

But her situation is a complete mess. Her engagement has been broken off, her family is nowhere to be found, and her paternal uncle wants to seize her family's estate.

She also has a secret she can't bring herself to mention: she often dreams of being far too intimate with a man.

Xiao Yancheng is a celibate Buddhist, disciplined and proper, and never interested in women.

His situation isn't much better. His grandmother wants to force her grandniece on him, while his mother orders him to take on the responsibility of providing heirs for his widowed sister-in-law's branch of the family.

He, too, has a secret he can't tell anyone: every few days, he dreams of being entangled with a woman.

Under pressure from all sides, the two are forced together and get married.

Marriage works out well enough. She can cling to his influence to protect the Chu family, while he can enjoy some peace and devote himself to Buddhism.

They hit it off and really get married, becoming a couple in name only.

Chu Qinyang thinks that, given time, those shameful dreams will eventually fade, and life will go on as usual.

When the time is right, she'll ask for a divorce.

Xiao Yancheng, however, is fed up. His scandalous dreams are growing more frequent.

And that's not all. They clearly agreed to keep their distance after marriage, but she keeps failing to do so, constantly tempting him, and now she even dares to ask for a divorce.

In a fit of anger, he grabs her slender waist and blurts out, “You can have a divorce, but first give me a child.”

Who could have guessed that the blurry face in his dreams would gradually come into focus, until it matched the woman right before him...
