Desire Stirs in the Night Harbor

A sexy, untamable little wildcat X a ruthless, unhinged man devoted to her Reunited after years apart / mature leads / a man’s long road to winning her back / the male lead takes the lead / an ex comes crawling back A dragon has nine sons, none of whom become dragons. Each has his own tastes. Wang Zhiya returns from overseas after graduating, and her father arranges for her to intern at the family company. Her very first client turns out to be the older neighbor she met at her graduation ball! Lu Tingzhi, a famous figure in Hong Kong. They say he has connections in both the underworld and the legitimate world, with power to spare and a ruthless hand. But people only see his refined, gentle side, never the deeply affectionate, melancholy eyes behind his gold-rimmed glasses. From the moment he took over the Lu family, others schemed to send their daughters his way. The Wang family, meanwhile, keeps their own daughter hidden and wants nothing to do with him. In broad daylight, in the office, Wang Zhiya is trapped against a desk by the man, with nowhere to run. The refined, distinguished man bends over her, his tender eyes shimmering as if he intends to kiss her senseless. “Why are you avoiding me? We’re clearly perfect together.” Her face turns red as she pushes against his chest, her hands weak and powerless. The good girl her brothers know is pinned against the edge of a hot spring pool in the dead of night, kissing the man passionately. “What are you afraid of? Your brothers are playing a board game. They can’t hear us.” Tears slip from the corners of Wang Zhiya’s eyes. She grits her teeth, tense and on guard. Like a little rain-soaked cat, she looks utterly pitiful… The pampered young lady, who has never suffered the slightest grievance, is heartbroken, but all she does is turn and walk away. Lu Tingzhi goes mad. The aloof man falls to his knees for love, begging her to come back. “Marry me, darling. Give me a chance to spend the rest of my life protecting my princess.”
