Memory Imprisonment

The main line of the story: A series of disappearances occurred. Six people from different backgrounds disappeared out of thin air in their respective homes, leaving no trace at the scene. The only thing they have in common is that they all suddenly obtained some kind of memory fragment that "doesn't belong to them" three days before they disappeared. When the police are helpless, a private detective suffering from hyperamnesia intervenes in the investigation, only to discover that these memory fragments point to a long-forgotten truth - collective amnesia about an experiment fifteen years ago.
