An Archaeology Team Dug Up My Family’s Ancestral Tomb and Found a Heavenly Court

Zhou Xuan is just an ordinary college student, yet in a single day he becomes the target of the entire internet's outrage. The reason is simple: an archaeological team has discovered a large site in the hills behind his hometown, and its entrance lies directly beneath his family's ancestral grave. Online commenters accuse his family of feudal superstition, experts urge him to cooperate with the excavation, and reporters crowd around asking if he's trying to use the grave to demand money. Zhou Xuan can only remember the last words his grandfather left him: Do not dig within three steps of the grave. But as soon as the archaeological team strikes the ground with its first shovel, nine celestial bells suddenly ring from beneath the earth. Bronze steps burst from the ground, and a massive ancient gate appears before the world. Two ancient characters on the gate shake the internet to its core Southern Heaven. Everyone thinks it's the site of an ancient myth, until the bronze gate opens, a white-jade stairway appears, and a divine edict flies before Zhou Xuan. “Ninety-ninth Guardian of Heaven, we have finally waited for you.” It turns out the Zhou family's ancestral grave isn't a grave at all. It's the entrance to the old Heavenly Court, fallen into the mortal world. The Southern Heavenly Gate, the Heavenly Army Barracks, the Peach Garden, the Immortal-Slaying Platform, fragments of the Investiture of the Gods... Other people dig up artifacts for their archaeological discoveries. But the moment they opened the ancestral grave of Zhou Xuan's family, they unearthed an entire Heavenly Court.
