Won Over by Your Heart

A Heart Bound to You Some people are destined to spend a lifetime forgetting; others are destined to spend the rest of their lives loving deeply. Seven years ago, eighteen-year-old Lu Jingshen played “La Isla Bonita” for a girl he had never met in front of a blue-domed church in Santorini. That summer, two broken souls met briefly in the Aegean breeze, made a promise to meet again in a year, and then vanished into the vast sea of humanity. Seven years later, twenty-six-year-old Lin Wanqing is suffocating under the pressure of a commercial wager and escapes to Sanya to clear her head. In the sea breeze, she hears that familiar guitar melody again. The one playing it is the quiet boy from all those years ago. He is no longer the penniless architecture student he once was, but an internationally acclaimed designer. She, meanwhile, is merely the owner of a flower shop on the verge of bankruptcy, weighed down by the shadow of failure and guilt over the past. Fate brings them together again, but reality stands between them: seven years of misunderstandings, family opposition, and a rival’s schemes. When Lu Jingshen tells her, “I can lose everything, but I can’t lose you a second time,” Lin Wanqing finally understands. Some bonds are destined to circle back, only to begin anew at just the right moment. The sea breeze remembers you, and I have never forgotten. This is a story of missed chances and waiting, of growth and redemption. May everyone with love in their heart find the one worth pursuing for a lifetime.
