Reality Worm

I died three years ago and was buried yesterday. They mispronounced my name and mourned a life I didn't recognize. Until the woman with the scar on her wrist said to me: "You have thirty-seven days before you will be completely forgotten by the world."   My name is Chen Ji, a "leaper" trapped in a wrong version of reality. My memories are twofold: one says I'm a restorer of ancient books, and the other insists I'm a medical examiner - and the latter remembers being pushed into the incinerator and seeing the scars on the murderer's wrists in the flames. Now that scar is growing on my wrist, pulsing day and night. The world is a text full of holes, and I am one of the errors that cannot be corrected. A system called the "Reality Worm" squirms in the darkness, erasing contradictions and devouring memories. But before that, I have to tear open the manuscript of reality and see clearly who is writing and why—— Determined to completely erase the name "Chen Ji" from the memory of all worlds.
