In this seemingly ordinary world, "rules" beyond physics are everywhere. Elevators late at night, buildings working overtime, and the last subway train may all become hunting grounds for rules. Physical attacks are ineffective against them because they are cause and effect, logic, and laws written in space. And my protagonist, a young man who is proficient in numerology and metaphysics, may be the only "ordinary person" who can deal with it.
