The Peninsula: Starting on a Rainy Day

Reborn on the Korean Peninsula, Shen Zhixing only wants to live a laid-back life.

His family is rich, he lives in Cheongdam-dong, and he owns a coffee shop called Rainy Day.

He sells coffee by day, plays with his orange tabby at night, and makes desserts now and then. Life is pretty comfortable.

Until one day, nine girls on the verge of debuting burst in through the back door.

The leader loses her voice, so he gives her pear tea.

The youngest gets nervous, so he gives her hot soup.

The one with the biggest appetite gets extra rice balls.

And the girl whose stage name hides the sun, who’s stubborn and quick to bristle?

A low-sugar mango pomelo sago, made just for her and not for sale.

Shen Zhixing thought he was simply leaving a light on for them.

He never expected that light to lead into storms of stages, public opinion, capital, careers, and romance.

And he certainly never expected that, a few years later, another gentle and reserved leader would walk into Rainy Day and throw his already chaotic life into even greater disarray.

One is the sun, the other the moonlight.

One stubbornly pursues him, the other quietly stays by his side.

Looking at the increasingly absurd life before him, Shen Zhixing can only say one thing:

I really just wanted to open a coffee shop.
