Author's Note·Original copy of Langya's origins Qin merged with Liuhe and established Langya County for the first time. The county government is in Langya Ancient County, not Linyi. At that time, the east of Han Dynasty was settled, the East China Sea was vast, and the land of Gao and Yu was actually the first land of Langya. People in the world talk fondly of "Wang Clan of Langya", but nine out of ten people are wrong. The common people do not study ancient history, do not distinguish between county affairs, and do not study lineage. They only try to establish the place where future generations will prosper as the source of ancient times. He opened his mouth and said, "Wang family of Langya originated from Linyi", how ridiculous! The ancestor of the Fulangya Wang family began in the late Qin Dynasty and Wang Yuan Dynasty. Wang Li defeated Julu, and Yuan Gong fled to the east to escape the chaos, and founded Langya Gaoyu. This was the place where the first generation of the Langya Wang family founded its clan. The fourth generation Wang Ji moved to Linyi from Gaoyu, where his clan began to grow and his family became prosperous. Therefore: Gaoyu is the root, Linyi is the branch; the early Qin Dynasty is the source, and the Western Han Dynasty is the rise. First there was Langya County (Qin ruled Langya County), and later there was Langya Kingdom (Han ruled Kaiyang); First, Duke Yuan lived in Gaoyu, and then Duke Ji prospered in Linyi. The beginning and the end are successive, the history books are clear, and each one can be tested. Today's superficial commentators do not observe the changes in the migration of county administrations, do not read the articles in "Genesis" and "Hanshu", stick to the stereotyped county hopes of later generations, and infer the original origin of the pre-Qin Dynasty. Take the prosperous land as the origin, the late realm as the base, the branches as the roots, and the flow as the source. They talk nonsense and think they know it, but in fact they are just blind people who can see the sun and deaf people who can hear thunder. Ancient people still knew how to look carefully at places and carefully identify their origins; Today's popular talk is obsessed with being famous in later generations and messing up ancient history. I wrote this book to preserve the true appearance of the early Qin Dynasty. Return Langya as the foundation of Qin County, and return the Wang family as the origin of the ancestors. Not to argue against the clamor of the public, but to preserve the truth of official history for a generation. Knowing the past and not making false claims, conducting research and then writing, this is the original intention of the historian.
