Beachcombing: A Senior-Year Internship, and You're Fishing from an Orca?

(Lighthearted + beachcombing + interactions with divine pets + island farming, incredibly relaxing, no toxic drama or angst!) During their final year of college, while all his classmates were killing themselves competing for jobs at major corporations, Lin Chao quietly filled out his internship placement form: Inherit an island and become its owner. Go beachcombing and catch fish. All because he had activated a beachcombing livestream System, which required him to live a leisurely life of "facing the sea, with seafood whenever I want." On the rocky shore at low tide, while others picked up little crabs, he pulled out a whole nest of premium wild red crabs! In the deep-sea reefs, while others feared running aground, he took his rickety little boat out and hauled in a net full of bluefin tuna! Wild giant abalone, a century-old compass, ancient shipwrecks on the ocean floor... What really made viewers lose it was the "black-and-white squeaky weirdo" that always followed him around. Other people brought lifebuoys to go beachcombing. He brought an orca! When he went looking for shellfish, the orca spouted water beside him. When he went diving, it chased away the sharks. When he did a seafood mukbang on shore, the orca grabbed a giant octopus and flung it right at his face! Lin Chao: "Guys, I'll say it one last time: I'm really just an ordinary beachcomber!" Viewers across the internet: "An ordinary person goes beachcombing with an orca bodyguard? Sea King, give it a rest! The internet's full of memes of you riding that orca!" Even more absurdly, one day during a livestream, a baby orca tossed a huge Spanish mackerel onto his deck in front of more than a hundred thousand viewers, then rolled over to show its belly and begged for pets. Lin Chao turned to the camera and explained solemnly: "Don't get the wrong idea. Wild animals like to play with their prey. We don't even know each other." Viewers across the internet flipped their tables: "There are witnesses and whale witnesses! It even pays for its meals, and you call that not knowing each other?!"
