Five Thunders at a Wave: This Little Taoist Is a Bit Unhinged

My name is Li Ziyou. Li, as in Li Ziyou, and Ziyou, meaning freedom. If you want to know why I got that name, it was my master who chose it. Yet my life seems destined to have nothing to do with freedom. All I wanted was to follow my master and practice the Dao in peace. But when I was seven, I stumbled upon a pact between humans and demons. My master was killed protecting me, and all I could do was watch, helplessly. Perhaps it wasn't my time to die, or perhaps I survived for the sake of revenge. By a stroke of fate, I awakened memories from before I transmigrated. “The profound origin of Heaven and Earth, the root of all qi. Cultivate through countless kalpas, and attain my divine powers. Within and beyond the Three Realms, the Dao alone is supreme... Golden light, appear swiftly and shield my body. By the authority of the Heavenly Worthy of Universal Transformation and Thunderclaps of the Nine Heavens, obey!”
