Don’t Panic, America, This Is Just Civilian Technology

When Zhang Chi returned to 2018, he inherited a toy factory on the verge of bankruptcy and gained a System that could endlessly enhance anything. From software to physical objects, from microorganisms to humans, from employees to the factory itself... Anything that belongs to Zhang Chi can be enhanced without limit! He made an all-terrain remote-controlled toy car, but it was so well-built and powerful that America insisted it was a low-cost, self-destructing unmanned combat vehicle! He made a fiber-optic drone that could still be used for emergency relief when the network went down, but it was so well-built and powerful that America insisted it was a fiber-optic suicide drone! Fine, then. He made an underwater inspection submersible to record beautiful scenery and marine life on the seafloor. Surely that would be all right? But consumers got a little too enthusiastic. It ended up effectively disabling America’s anti-submarine sonar systems, turning them deaf and leaving them terrified of being attacked by nuclear submarines every day?! Good grief! I’m only making consumer tech. Why does it keep dealing America such devastating blows? Don’t panic, America. This really is consumer technology! What? America bled itself dry for oil? Great, I’ll buy a few strings of firecrackers to celebrate... [Urban Fantasy] [Cutting-Edge Tech] [Technology] [Industry] [Entrepreneurship] [Military Industry] [A Strong Nation]
