I can change the rules of the world. Let the elevator be driven by thoughts, make death temporarily ineffective, and make glass harder than diamond. But every time I revise it, my memory becomes blurry and the world collapses. Until I broke into the "backside" of the city and discovered that all this was just an experiment of higher civilization—— And all of us are test code in their sandbox.
