In the Republic of China, I Carried the Analects of Confucius to Fight the Japanese.

The Northern Song Dynasty scholar Su Wenyuan (a colleague of Su Shi) died unjustly, and his soul lingered for nine hundred years. In 1937, he possessed a dying soldier on the Songhu battlefield. Armed with a collection of classics and history, military strategies and ancient technologies, he staged a hilarious drama of "a scholar encounters a soldier" among the anti-Japanese troops of the Republic of China: he used "The Art of War" to fight the Japanese, "Mengxi Bi Tan" to build bombs, and "The Analects of Confucius" to educate prisoners; he used rifles as "hidden weapons", telegraphs as "sound transmission", and tanks as "iron-armored monsters". In cultural conflicts and life-and-death battles, he grew from a pedantic and aloof old scholar to a wise and courageous anti-Japanese commander. He finally took root in New China and used nine hundred years of accumulated wisdom to write a legend filled with laughter and tears.
