Records of the Eternal Night: The Unspeakable Mortal

An eternal night stretches without end, and the Green Moon whispers. From the moment the sun went down, civilization on the frozen earth was reduced to smoldering ashes, and humanity’s last sparks flickered precariously.

Xifan crawled out of a mass grave and, warmed by half a rye loaf, resolutely set out on a journey to find the sun.

To keep his promise, he forged bonds wherever he went, gathered knowledge, devoured books, and ventured alone into dangerous places in search of the answers he sought.

Time flew and the years turned. When at last he emerged from hardship and ascended to the altar, he realized the truth behind the eternal night:

This was a fated game of chess manipulated by ancient gods and hunters, and he was the only expendable piece in this sinister game who could tip the scales of its rules.

As darkness shrouds the heavens, the wheel of fate begins to turn. Xifan fights against the current in pursuit of light’s embrace. What he seeks is not a scorching blaze that will consume the world, but the golden radiance of the sun returning to it!

(Featuring ancient god puppets of the Church, ineffable holy relics, ideals of the end times, hunters from higher dimensions, and a world of eerie nights...)
