Grandpa Taisui's Forbidden Notes

College student Zhang Fan takes over the antique shop his grandfather left behind. In a dream, his grandfather warns him of something, and when he wakes, he finds his third uncle rummaging through everything.

Just then, the mysterious warrior Ye Yan arrives with a piece of gold. A camphorwood chest comes to light, but an unknown force breaks in to seize it, dragging Zhang Fan into the fray.

A fragmentary diary, a partial map, and another piece of gold inside the chest point overseas.

As the curse of stardust, born from a meteorite, is lifted, secrets entwining eternal life and world-ending destruction begin to unfold. The vow to protect resurfaces, but the tragedy of living under a curse and never surviving past fifty has repeated itself through generations of the Zhang family.

To break free of this cursed fate, Zhang Fan joins forces with his companions and follows the path his grandfather once took, guided by a page from a fragmentary notebook.

Knowing their weaknesses, they explore tombs with technology and seek dragon veins through ancient methods. They brave traps, battle the undead, and pit their wits against their foes, uncovering the truth behind a thousand-year struggle between protection and betrayal.

When the seven stars return to their places, the light of the stardust reveals the truth of the past: the Zhang family has been guarding not a treasure, but a seal holding back the destruction of mankind.

Zhang Fan knows that on this journey to the underworld, he must either break the curse and live, or face destruction!
