Some humans mutated and turned into monsters. Governments from various countries sent troops to suppress them. After years of fighting, there were not many humans left. In order to continue the human species, the government had no choice but to launch the last nuclear weapons and blast out an isolation zone around the last piece of unconquered land. Radiation would also cause harm to monsters, so people gained a hard-won 25-year respite. However, more and more monsters have appeared around the refuge recently. The attenuation of radiation and the evolution of monsters represent a new crisis.
