Collection of Horror and Ghost Stories

I rented an old rental house that was ridiculously cheap. The landlord repeatedly told me: No matter what you hear at night, don't open the door. At first I just thought it was an old man's weird rules, until late at night, a familiar coughing sound came from outside the door—— That was my grandma who had died many years ago. I thought it was an hallucination until the next morning when I saw a silver hairpin that she often wore hanging on the doorknob. From that day on, every midnight, things in the house would move on their own, and there would always be a shadow in the mirror. Only then did I realize that I was never the only one living in this room.
