Su Baoying looked at the twisted figure outside the glass. The door in my mind opened a crack, and light shone through, soft but cold. "My dear child." The voice sounded gentle and calm, as if coming from a far away place, and as if it was close to her ears. "Don't be afraid." Su stared at the smooth face outside the window and the two black holes. "You have brought disaster." She said, her voice numb, recounting what had happened. "And killed my friend." The voice paused. "Those things?" It said "They wear our likeness." Su Baoying said nothing. "We're locked out." "Where is it outside?" The voice didn't answer. "We need you." Su looked at the figures outside the window and felt the light in his head getting brighter. "What do you want me to do?" "Pass the trial." "What trial?" "The Trial of the Lord." When the voice said this, its tone was calm, as if it was talking about something that had been arranged long ago. "What's the price?" It was silent for a few seconds. "You will disappear, and then you will come to us." "Where?" "You call it the Garden of Eden." Su Baoying stood there without speaking. The figures outside the window are still there, the eyes on the wall are still moving wildly, and the door in my mind is open, letting in more light. She didn't have a choice and she knew it. The voice sounded again, this time very softly, like a sigh: "Don't be afraid, you are originally from here."
