Xiao Daocheng, the Founding Emperor of Southern Qi

Emperor Zhaoxuan of the Tang Dynasty Li Yu (892-908), whose original name was Li Yu, was the eldest son of Emperor Zhaozong Li Ye of the Tang Dynasty. His mother was the Empress Dowager Jishan He. He was born in the turbulent times of the late Tang Dynasty. He witnessed the decline of the royal family and the domineering power of powerful officials since his childhood. In the third year of Tianfu (903), under Zhu Wen's coercion, Li Yu was established as the crown prince and changed his name to Li Yu. In the first year of Tianyou (904), Zhu Wen killed Tang Zhaozong. Under Zhu Wen's control, Li Yu ascended the throne in Luoyang and became the last emperor of the Tang Dynasty. He was only 12 years old.
