Transmigrating to another world isn't supposed to be like this!

You're supposed to call me “Hero,” give me some awesome traits, then have the princesses and queens beg me to defeat the Demon King and save the world. Along the way, throw in a few female knights and saintesses to join my party, build up their affection, and let me level up by beating monsters. Then I defeat the Demon King and save the world!

So why am I so broke I can't even afford a meal?

Never mind. Making money for food is more important.

But you quest-givers, do you really have to be so sneaky when you post jobs?

We adventurers always honor our word. Once we accept a job, whether it's raiding an ancient red dragon's lair or stealing a legendary lich's phylactery, we'll follow through.

Can't you just say what you mean?

Why do quest-givers always think they can treat adventurers like pawns to be casually manipulated in their “perfect plans”?

Do you know how many great schemes have failed because of this? Villains need to learn from the tales told by bards, all right?
