Copy the Book and Find a Lady in Red

In order to collect rent, Lin Mo, a down-and-out online writer, found a moldy Ming Dynasty manuscript "Record of the Past" at a flea market. He originally wanted to copy the stories of supernatural beings and use them as material for online articles, but he found that the writing on the pages was made of cinnabar mixed with human blood. Every midnight when copying books, Su Wan, a woman wearing red and white Hanfu, would float out of the pages of the book - she was a female scribe who died unjustly in the Ming Dynasty. She was executed for being involved in the "collaboration case", and her blood and soul were sealed into the "Record of the Past" before her death.
