Where the Phoenix Rests

In full view of the crowd, the proud and scheming Prince Ding pulls the ugliest woman in the capital into his arms and declares passionately, “My wife may be ugly, but she has my heart!”

Mu Yunge: “You’re quite the actor, Your Highness. We’re only married by contract.”

Prince Ding gets so caught up in his role that he insists on fulfilling his marital duties from time to time.

Mu Yunge says she can’t keep up with him and angrily demands a divorce. When she removes her veil, the capital is dazzled by the beauty of the woman once called its ugliest.

“Your Highness, the princess has opened a medical clinic. Princes and young nobles are streaming through the doors…”

“Find out which playboys frequent the clinic. Send every last one of them out of the capital.”
