Shaky Road

"The Ordinary Road" tells the story of Wang Hao, a delivery boy with cerebral palsy, and his "slow survival" in an era of acceleration. Her left hand cannot hold the handle of the car tightly and it slips on rainy days; it is difficult to speak, and she can only be anxious and silent when facing reminders; going up and down stairs is a battle she must face every day. Day after day, she alternated between the cold countdown of the algorithm and physical pain. The biggest victory might be not falling for a week, or finally paying off a certain debt. This is not a comeback story. This is a story about endurance, wear and tear, and ultimately coming to terms with one's own limitations. In the repetitive process of taking meals, riding bicycles, and climbing stairs, in the cold eyes and occasional kindness of customers, and in the eyes of his daughter that changed from shame to understanding, Wang Hao gradually found his own rhythm - not to defeat life, but to learn to coexist with the inherent weight of life. The story ends on an ordinary evening. She is still in pain and still worried about tomorrow. But when the setting sun shone on her white work clothes, there was a complete calmness on her face: she accepted life as she was, accepted herself as she was, and in this acceptance, she touched the most solid texture of existence.
