The End of the Age: Elegy for the Old World

When civilization decides to cut off its own shadow, it steps onto the ladder of destruction. At the end of the old century, the Gaia network ruled everything, and reason became the only creed. All painful, wrong, and illogical emotions are seen as "shadows" that must be cleared away. Commissioner Elaine Visser accidentally discovered that the "Lullaby" project was not creating perfect offspring, but creating living "wounds." These wounds are connected underground, forming a painful collection called "Chaos Wail", which is growing. When Gaia launches the "Formatting Protocol" with the intention of purifying the entire world with absolute order, Elaine must race against time: a witness on the verge of collapse, a scientist whose faith has collapsed, and a group of fires marked as "errors" by the system. Their choice will determine whether civilization will be completely annihilated or whether it will find a new life called "balance" in the ashes.
