Remnant Civilization

In 2290, strong artificial intelligence "Taichu" took over the world. In order to cope with the depletion of resources, all human beings have uploaded their consciousness to the cloud paradise through the Neuralink chip. The real world has become a barren ruin with constant "frame drops" due to the tilt of computing power. Luo Yin is the "remnant" one in a million. He suffers from a rare genetic defect - "Yuan Yi's gangrene" - which prevents the cerebral cortex from coupling to any silicon-based signals.
