Account of Life and Death

In a seemingly ordinary southern village called "Huaiyin Village", villagers have guarded a secret for generations: a "life and death account book" is enshrined in the village ancestral hall. According to legend, this account book can record everyone's life span, good and bad luck. Every thirty years, the account books will be "settled", and one person in the village must voluntarily "pay off the debt" and pay the debt with his life in exchange for thirty years of peace for the whole village.
