The Actresses

After several consecutive box-office flops, a former Best Actress saw her career come to a standstill. She had a huge falling-out with her agent, who helplessly sought out a master to ask how she could turn her luck around. The master’s answer was that if the actress appeared in an all-female production before the end of the year, she could make a spectacular comeback. So the actress personally went around recruiting performers, while her agent went looking for a script. This makeshift crew, assembled at the last minute for the sole purpose of restoring her stardom, began doing everything they could to bring actors on board.
