Gods Here

When the stars lower their gaze, the whispers of the gods echo in the abyss. This is the best of times—power is pouring out like rain, and mortals can touch the throne of God. This is the worst of times - every time you ascend to the gods, you are offering firewood to the feast deep in the starry sky. We were once as majestic as a mountain, in charge of laws and orders, and on behalf of heaven's punishment. We too have been as humble as dust, lingering among the embers of the oracle. We steal fire, forge authority, and build shelter between the cracks of the rules. We also face madness, burn in the fire, and listen to the indescribable tide in the shadow of the past. Now, the silent crown appears in nothingness, and the lost true name is rekindled in the blood and fire. Some people pray for the gods to return, while others plan to kill them. And I stand on the edge of the abyss, holding the first and last ray of authority. Define reality and reality, define survival and death, and define the line between God and man that should not exist. Born as humans, we will eventually become gods.
